Who we are looking for 

Ideally as a Learner, you have completed or be enrolled in post-secondary education.

In the absence of post-secondary education, Learners may have appropriate occupational or life experience with ADHD.

Although not mandatory, prior training in health, education, coaching, communications, administration or leadership would be an asset.

About the ADHD Training Academy 

The ADHD Training Academy is the ONLY Mental Health initiative that offers a training program for professionals working with individuals who have ADHD who are located in BC (and other parts of Canada). It is for those who want to strengthen their knowledge and awareness of ADHD.  In an era of ADHD skeptics, many more professionals are looking to find more resources about how to work with their neurodivergent colleagues, partners and others while the need for more awareness around ADHD rises exponentially as more research surfaces about this ever-changing topic. 


Educate. Empower. Advocate: Building ADHD Awareness Through an Accessible Training Program 

The ADHD Training Academy empowers mental health professionals—including counselors, coaches, and nurse practitioners—with the knowledge and tools to confidently support adults with ADHD. Through accessible certification programs (CEPP), the academy fosters empathy, competence, and a deeper understanding of ADHD, equipping professionals to provide inclusive, evidence-based care.

By addressing critical knowledge gaps and creating a collaborative learning environment, the academy envisions a future where ADHD care is more effective, sensitive, and impactful for both practitioners and clients.
